I really like having the dash clock instead of a tach, but when I bought the car it ran too slow so when I changed the dash bulbs I took it out, snapped the reset knob a couple of times to try and break it loose and spun the hands around using the knob a few times, and now it runs too fast (gains about 2 hours a day). It is my understanding that once a quartz clock runs too fast it is fried and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know what model these clocks are and if anyone makes a replacement movement? Can I use a quartz kit for a Borg clock like the one Clocksandgauges.com carries as a replacement? Any help is appreciated.
