That will probably work OK, especially if it flashes past 2500 rpm.

Well things went from bad to worse. Won't be able to get the 403 in the car this year. Pulled the bearing caps, crank needs a grind/polish and cam bearings are wiped out so i'm looking at a full rebuild now. Have to save up some cash for that, but still will have the 403 in the cutlass in the future. Guess I'll cruise and enjoy the car for the summer!
