question for anyone who has removed vinyl top.

Thinking about gutting my vinyl top off my car tonight but not 100% sure if i have to remove the port windows or can you pull the vinyl out from around it ?

Not necessary but would make life easier should yours be stubborn in that area. I found removing mine rather easy as it peeled off in one big piece. Others have had a harder time.

It's not immediately necessary, but you'll have to pull them eventually to remove the last bit of the top.
When I removed the vinyl top on my old '87 Cutlass, I carefully trimmed around the 1/4 windows with a razor.
I did it that way because I planned on pulling the windows later in preparation for paint (that never happened)...
