Okay I know I want a full roller billet aluminum rocker arm, 1.5 ratio, no self-aligning, polylock, 3/8 stud mount. What option I am trying to figure out is what size slot style I need or how wide of a slot? 350 chevy IK 180 heads, with comp cams 987 dual valve springs. They say 1.9" installed height and 1.430" outer diameter. Any help is appreciated, or ask if you need more info.

I think I've about narrowed it down to either Howard cams 90070 or Scorpion SCP1000BL

I did look at them, only downfall was max spring diameter was 1.450 and my springs are 1.430 so that only leaves .020 clearance there. The slot width was smaller also at .562 where others were at .600+. I am unsure of the need for slot width though. Can anyone elaborate on where rocker arm slot width comes into play?

Slot with is the space where the poly lock goes. Basicly this determines the thickness of the lock.
