Racing rad transmission cooler adaptors?

So I am installing the new rad, hooked up the trans lines to the cooler and they leak. I beleive that I need some sort of adaptor but thought that I would run this by to see if someone can tell me what to go get. Please see pictures.

One pic is the original rad I had, the other is the racing rad, fittings look different.

Because I had it custom built it does not have the AN fitting cooler you refer to. A 5/16 flare to 1/4" NPT is all that was needed. Be cool rads look to have the same setup.

Dumb question but some people forget, is the flare the correct flare, and are you using plumbing thread tape..
