So I’ve been having issues with all of my gauges I swapped in a nice cutlass dash into my el Camino and none of the gauges besides the speedo have been working until today I played around with the temp sender connection and the fuel temp and volt gauges all started working pretty accurately but the tach and oil gauges still aren’t doing anything so I pulled the gauge cluster and found this ground wire, it is a ground I tested it but there is no room in the plug for it and no spot in the back of the cluster for it, does anyone know what it’s for? Or anything I could do to trouble shoot these gauges

So the issue had nothing to do with the ground wire or the wiring in general just needed some small repairs made to the cluster here’s a really helpful video I found on how to clean up your connections on the cluster if anyone else is struggling with their gauges on their rally gauge cluster
