Ready for Christmas ?

I was somewhat excited about Christmas but then the wife has to go on and be a b*tch so.........

I'll confess I'm not like most guys. I didn't wait until today, or even tomorrow to start shopping. The Mrs. and I went out shopping together twice a few weeks ago. Then I went out twice more on my own and was done shopping two weeks ago.
I also handled the designing, printing and packaging our Christmas cards and got them to the post office. I even did 90% of the gift wrapping since I'm more creative in disguising the stuff for our "too smart" teenagers.
Today, while most guys are running around like idiots, I get to lounge around and play on the internet while listening to football while awaiting the time until we go to my Brother In Law's this evening to celebrate the wife's side of the family Christmas.
Tomorrow it will just be me and the boys since my wife has to work (hospital.) Tuesday it will be just the four of us.
Next Saturday we host my side of the family and I'm sure I'll have a big hand in making that happen.

i am,i made six dozen pizzelles yesterday.i give them to certain people as gifts.growing up i used to make them with my grandmother.now i make them for her.if you've never had them they're a super thin vanilla/anise flavored cookie that you make in a press. these cookies are the reason a baker's dozen is 13

Got everything for the Jr mechanic, just need some losing scratch off for the wife. Then the best day of the holiday-26 Dec!
Been ready . Did everything online. Now it's just get fat on Christmas cookies and watch the Grandkids tear open gifts.
