I have a couple of quick questions about this setup. Do I only need the backing plate, caliper and caliper mounts? Do I have to pull the axles for this? And do I need to modify anything?

You have to pull the axles to get the backing plate off.
When you go install them on you rear you need to cut the top off your mounting flange.
I can try to put a pic in little but I'm sure someone will post it before me. It's a super simple install.

You can see the top of the housing cut off. Cut it straight across above the bolt holes. Then put on the backing plate and use the grinder to adjust to a flat fit on the backing plate. This is a Camaro setup,, but principle is the same.

Do you have to drill any holes?
You have to drill out the axle flange in order to make it a four bolt flange....after cutting off the top of the mounting flange. Check out You Tube. I'm sure you'll find a few videos on the subject.
Here's one to do F-body rear discs.
Similar to the Blazer upgrade. At least it will give you an idea of what's involved.

Yeah I saw those and figured since alot of time had passed maybe there was a newer better way of doing this.

I may be mistaken, not a pick-up guy but the Blazers/S10s are leaf spring not trailing arms. Totally different bracket setups. Anyone correct my ignorance on S10s/Blazers.
