I'm changing my rear brake lines from the valve back and using stainless flex hose. I just got a tip from a speed shop regarding the wheel cylinders. He uses non power brake wheel cylinders from a mid 80's S10 in the GN's he works on. The piston is larger which improves the rear brakes and the wheel cylinders are the same price as the ones for my vehicle...a wopping $12.95 at Napa...

"edit".... I was wrong about the price........they are $20.69 at Napa

He's absolutely right, too. Probably one of the best tips for the drum brakes on our cars.
