Rear Defroster Grille

Does anyone know where I can get one of these defroster grilles for my '78 Malibu? Mine is trashed and I'd like to replace it if I can.

I am so used to having a grid on my back window I forgot those were even a thing in the earlier years.

I've seen a few on eBay, even complete units.

The whole unit is super expensive. I just need the grille. My blower fan works really well, but the grille was shot from sun damage.

I actually considered the home Depot unit, but I couldn't find the right size. Right now I have a 6x9 speaker cover over it, but it looks pretty dumb.

Keep in mind that these units also came in Nova, Camaro, Chevelle, etc and they were all the same. I just checked eBay and couldn't find a grille by itself but a grille, fan, and the plate can be had for $100. A complete NOS setup went for $160 not long ago.

But since you only need the grille, maybe buy a plastic cutting board and a jigsaw.....
