If as you say STREET USE, don’t bother with all the expensive options. I got my nine from QP Mosley standard. I did order GM billet tube ends for Camaro rear brakes and the fill and drain option. Unless you may someday change your intended use of the car keep the options to a minimum. THEY COST ALOT ALREADY
I ordered the same rear end with GM ends on my QP 9. Have you installed it yet? Would like to know how the Camaro set up went.

So I’m to the point I need to order my rear end for my build. Quite honestly I don’t know much about what differential would be best for a street application. I want posi for sure but can someone help out with the pros and cons of these options? Sorry in advanced.

So I am curious did you not do the upgrade to a Nodular case?

Not trying to insult your intelligence, but I know how things can get overlooked even by the most experienced. With the Truetrac, keep in mind you DO NOT want friction modifiers in the oil. Just straight up non-syn rear gear lube. Don't even get the stuff with the additives already in it. Eaton says not to use friction modifiers with the Truetrac. Food for thought.

According to Eaton about their Truetrac:
Since I do everything in reverse, I called Eaton to get a rec on fluid before I have even bought my truetrac. This is what they recommend so I bought it...

First I’m not a mechanic. I did the installation by myself and it was pretty easy. The calipers to the rear. Now I did make relocater brackets for my lower shock mount to get them away from the calipers. Theres a few threads on here where I got my answers. You can drill and bolt or weld the to the new rear. I welded mine. I got mine bare metal. I also made some brake line hold downs and welded to the tubes. Then painted. If your going to use the E-brake, theres threads here to do that also.

I have the factory Trak Lock in my 2000 Dakota. I am even using synthetic 75W140 with the additive built in since it gets used in -40. It works Ok, in icy conditions in 2wd, give it any gas and it goes sideways. The Trutrac will probably more Street friendly in slippery conditions. Basically none of these manufacturers recommend synthetic and that Lucas must be one of the few that don't contain the posi additive, most do.

I’ve got the 9” from Quick Performance and I couldn’t be happier. They are great guys to work with also. Definitely go with the Eaton Tru Trac, you won’t even know it’s back there except for the two black streaks…

245/50-16 and 16x8 GNX style wheels all around. Wish I could remember the backspacing but they’re just generic eBay wheels.
