You drive on the street too? Id like to occasionally go on the highway so I dont want it to be maxed outI am running 4.56s.
I'm running 28" tires, btr stage 2 turbo cam, 3600 stall converter, 7875 turbo shooting for 9sWhen I see street/strip, then that tells me that you will be running this for more a couple of passes once or twice a year. Greg is right, it will work. But unless you're running a 30" tire it won't be your best option. We could use some more details about what you want to accomplish. Namely a track goal, converter specs, tire size, turbo and cam.
4.11 with an OD with a 28" tire is a great setup for a NA build. The turbo changes all of that though. I have a similar setup to yours - 3.73's and 275/60R15 ET streets at the track and 26" street tire for street driving. The 3.73 is too low of a gear for both the street on 26's and at the track with a 28" tall tire. I'm going to be limited to low 140mph range at the track unless I spin over 7500 (which I don't want to do)and it cruises at 2800 at 75mph. A 3.55 or 3.42 would be better and probably a 3.27 or 3.23 would be great. I hoping to be sub 9.5 seconds. The last issue with my 3.73's is launching - it's a fine line between launching slow and blowing the tires off. A higher gear would make that fine line a bunch fatter.
What are your intentions with turbo, cam, converter, goal?

I've got roughly the same build - a little less cam and a little more turbo. 4.11's will suck. What rear are you running? I'd recommend nothing numerically higher than a 3.55.I'm running 28" tires, btr stage 2 turbo cam, 3600 stall converter, 7875 turbo shooting for 9s
A 30" tire and an OD with .67 vs the 4L80 's .75. Will help a bunch with a 4.56.Sure do, the OD in the 200-4R makes it very liveable. I am currently on 28" OD tires, and going to a 29.5-30" tire. There are calculators to help you figure out cruising RPM.
