Swapping a LS1/4L60E from a 2001 Trans Am WS6 into my 86 cutlass supreme. Would I be able to use the rear end from that? Thank in advance

No, the Trans Am rear end will not fit in a G body. The stock 7.5” cutlass rear end you have will be OK for easy driving and one wheel peels but if you put any power to it and hook up it will likely grenade.

That is good to know. Plan on having it as my daily driver. Someone told me that I had to replace it 🙄. Thank you!!

The rear end housing- no, but the differential and gears would fit with 28 spline axles for a G-body, like these:

Grab the rear disc brakes. I haven't done the upgrade myself, but I believe there is a write-up on here somewhere.
