Hello guys. Hope everyone had a Happy thanksgiving! Quick questions, when I purchase a master Bearing kit for a rear end, but i am changing the carrier, Do I order the kit for the rear end that the carrier is going in, or for the carrier itself? Or do I have to mix and match, like carrier and pinion bearings and shims for the posi unit and pinion, then axle seals and bearings for the rear end unit? getting ready to place the order in the next cpl weeks and don't want to have a bunch of wrong parts. Any idea??? As always, I appreciate any input. Thanks Ya'll!!

I always ordered for the rear they are going in. The only time I had to modify this practice was using a Eaton limited slip unit in a 8.5 rear for my brothers 74 Monte Carlo. It requires a different carrier bearing then stock.

Just my $.02
