Posted this on General because I need opinions and people to sign up. I am currently working on my frame and took the opportunity to build a custom rear shock tower brace. I need 3-5 people on this boat who are willing to buy one. I am only making 3-5 for now.

The tubing is 1.5" thick with a .120" wall thickness and the side forks are made of 1/4" plate. Bolts are a bigger size than stock (3/8-16 Bolt 15mm hex) and thread into the tower brace. Can mount on car without having to remove frame. I'm pricing them at $85 ea. +shipping. Pm me if you are interested.:)

I would slot the holes on one side like the UMI version to account for variances between Gbodies, we all wish everything was an exact fit from car to car but it is not.
Also I would make a jig so that you can make these without having to use your car to check fitment, wouldn't want to hold up progress on the car which by the way is coming along nicely.

Very true. I will leave one side threaded and the other slotted. The jig is a good idea too. I may keep my old rear section of the frame to keep making these, depending on how many people are interested of course. Thanks!
