Just wondering if anyone has done outboard shoulder belts on sedans or wagons? I know it's not required, but would be nice to add an extra measure of safety if it's not too big of a deal. Seems like it's been done on quite a few classic cars, but I haven't seen an installation specifically on G-bodies. Seems like you could weld an anchor somewhere on the C-pillar, or behind it on the roof. Any pics/experiences appreciated.

Shame GM didn't leave the provisions for the rear shoulder belts in the design of our cars. My old '72 Monte had a spot for the (very rare) optional outboard rear shoulder belts on the rear shelf plus had the reinforcement to make it functional (for early '70's standards.)
