Rear speaker insulator/covers

they look like they would fit a 6x9.....I have not seen any cover for the speakers in the G body

Yes those particular ones are for 6x9's

Threw mine in the trash. A "better" speaker (not hard to get better than GM) will need more area behind the cone for bass response. The baffle just decreases bass.

I had a set of those in my 81 but I tossed them last Summer when I put the new speakers in. I didnt realize it when I took everything apart but it was set up for 6x9s already.
