Rear spring rate

What is the rear spring rate for a Grand National, Monte SS or a G body with sport suspension.

Trying to order some rear Viking coil overs and need to make a decision on spring rate. Looking for stock or stiffer than stock.

Just a WAG here, but I'd say stock is at or under 200. We'll see what the folks who know what they're talking about have to say.

Checking Moog replacement parts rates= 199-122 lbs./in.(cc627 variable rate, or 6321 constant rate)

It will also depend on what your front spring rate is. The 5413 is a popular performance spring rate at 167 lbs

Keep in mind the stock springs are mounted vertically, while coil overs will have some angle/rate loss. probably minimal on a G body.
