So have my five piece chrome set. I've found the clips and mounting screws. I've cut all the excess window glue out of the channel. I've got a picture downloaded off the forum of measurements for clip location. But I think I need different clips for the lower piece. Any pics of what the lower clips look like.

advice on installing these with the glass installed. If screwing it in is not feasible how about 2 part epoxy the clips into place, has anyone tried that.
And how deep into the channel do the clips go

And finally the channel around the glass was almost completely full of black urethane and car shows no signs of ever leaking should I get a tube and refill the channel once clips are installed
Thank you

Are all your clip studs present? There is a tool that's used to weld on new mushroom studs....or you can purchase screws that have a similar mushroom head. I wouldn't advise using epoxy to fasten the clips down. Also, the clips are generally the same around the entire window circumference.
Once all the clips are in place and you're ready to re-install the glass, a bead of urethane caulk around the perimeter of the channel should be laid in. Then set the moulding in place while the urethane is still pliable and drying to achieve the proper height of the glass and moulding.

Mine was a vinyl top car originally so no studs there now. I have the special t headed screws but it doesnt look like i can drill and mount them with the glass in. I was looking for any other options others might have used to mount them. And the lower trim piece takes different clips but i cant find a pic of them..

It looked like the glass was out,. It would be easier to drill with the glass out. You mentioned having to clean up the old urethane. I assumed that the glass was removed.

I took a utility knife and cut out all excess urethane even with the glass so the channel was empty to work in

If i try to drill the holes and use the screws does the edge of the clip go flush with edge of body ,extended out , or recessed a bit.

You can use the clip as a gage to mark where the holes would be drilled out.
I'm glad Mr Donovan chimed in about different clips used on the lower channel...sorry about that.
