Rearend help??

Quick question for you who know more than me. I have a 92 gmc typhoon Rearend that has 373s new posi and axles etc. I know it won't bolt up in my Malibu wagon but was wondering if the posi unit,gears,and axles will fit my 7.5 housing.The axles are 28 spline and the typhoon Rearend is a 7 5/8. I know not the strongest of Rearends but it's just sitting and the wagons not a full on drag car. just looking for something better than the 7.5 peg leg.

it will fit right in, you will need 28 spline axles for the car.

Can I maybe just get some spring perches welded on and use this Rearend or will the pinion angle be wrong

it will not work,,get the guts out of it and swap them to your housing ,grab some 28 spline axles,,used sets are less than 100.00 bux

Use axles for a Buick GN Turbo. Moser costs a little more, but they are worth it. Superior also makes a replacement axle, but I've had some difficulties with them in the past.
