Emailed Joe a couple weeks ago and have not heard back. I'll wait until after Christmas to follow up.

Total recovering is the only option for me, the worst of the leather on mine is the part that won't be covered by a wrap.

Has anyone successfully changed the color of a wheel? I have a black T-Type wheel in my Regal and black matches everything, so it looks fine but I'd like it more if it was claret/burgundy like the rest of the interior. I'm wondering how something like SEM paint would hold up on a wheel.

I looked into that for the Grant aluminum wheel that I put in my Regal and decided against it since it seemed that it will always wear through at some point so I ended up painting the spokes and center instead (trying to keep it stockish looking)

I love your interior. I still need to finish mine. My carpet is new, I carpeted the trunk, I redid my headliner in black, and I swapped to bucket seats, but I still want to fix the cracked dash (currently hidden with a dash mat) and I need door panels and the rear inserts. I'd like to do something to darken the seats since they are a little faded, plus some other odds and ends. But I've gotta get my engine done first before I can mess with the interior.

I used PPG to change my Cavalier four spoke from gray to dark maple.

How much has it been driven since it was painted?
I just question the longevity of painting such a high wear area and all that it is subjected to.

Sadly no drive time. But it was recolored over ten years ago and has been handled like an easy chick at a kegger. Haven't seen any wear marks from handling, storage, or from anything used to cover/protect it. I have door panels that have been recolored & same handling that are still in good shape.

I am thinking more like summer heat and oil/sweat from hands and constant wear from gripping it breaking it down.
