Refurbushing wheels

I cleaned my wheel and sanded it and removed the silicone type sealer from in the crack of the center if the face of the wheel. Does anyone know if the plastic metal , tube of body filler stuff will work for in the crack or should I use a rubber type silicone??

i'd use an auto body seam sealer over any silicone product.

Paint will NOT stick to any kind of actual silicone so don't use that...

If the silicone was on there to provide some sort of seal then I would replace it with silicone, if you have to paint over the silicone they sell paintable silicone or you can use an adhesive promoter on regular silicone then paint.

If you have to paint then I would use seam sealer.
