Has anyone ever tried to relocate coolant overflow with newer cylinder style tank along side radiator or somewhere? I am trying to free up real estate where stock cutlass one is. any info or opinions welcomed

I currently have an aluminum recirculating coolant can but before that I had a universal plastic one with a cage mounted in the same spot, both work well.

I have a 20oz soda bottle with the overflow hose jammed into a hole in the cap. Sits just to the passenger side of the radiator. Works mint.

I was going by Summit's description which said no venting.

You are right that the description says no venting but if you look at a detailed picture of it there is what appears to be a vent hole at the top. That sure is strange to describe it with no venting

The reason I bought the Canton was because of the size of my radiator I wanted the 2 qt capacity plus I like that it has built in mounting brackets and a sight tube so I can see the coolant level.
