Repairing spark plug wires

I went to orielleys and bought 1 boot and 4 terminals for a few bucks. I have a cable tool I can probly use. I figured I have enough extra pcs in case I mess one up

How is the 403 running these days? Did you swap carbs yet?

Kept the same carb. Just cleaned it real good, adjusted that throttle cable better. I did post a video of it idling 2 days ago on this thread. Wish I had a go pro to record it while driving for a better video

Junk yard trips are a good chance to acquire plug wires of various types, FWIW...

Run any better? That carb is too small for that 403. A QF Slayer 750, SD 750 or a custom tuned 800 cfm Qjet would really wake it up.

So I found a 1407 edelbrock for 150 on CL. But it's a manual choke. The one I have is electric but not hooked up. Essentially wouldn't be any different except cfm right?

They are hit and miss, some have good luck, others can't get them right no matter what they try. It should match the motor better.

So your pretty much saying go for it since its more cfm and that I'm not using the electric choke on the current one?
