Hello everybody! Hope you are all having a great Saturday so far, I'm currently changing out the MCS on my E4MC carb. Anyways i have been meaning to buy a dwell meter to fine tune the carb once its back on the motor, and i came across these OTC Monitor scanners. So i found out the only ones that will work with the ECM on my 1988 Cutlass Supreme w/ 307 are the '85' Monitor and the '2000' Monitor with the right chip. The one I'm planning to buy is a 2000 that has the 3 in 1 Domestic 1990 chip. The question is will the 1990 chip be able to read the data off my ECM the same as a 82-89 chip? I would assume so since the CCC 307 went up until 1990 but i thought i would ask the guys that would know! Thanks everyone, enjoy your day!

I have an OTC 2000 that I tried to sell a while back. Nobody wanted to give me even $50 for it. It has the original -82-'89 cartridge in it...

I am betting the 3 in 1 will work...

So the OTC monitor 2000 with the 3 in 1 chip i ordered off ebay came in today, and it works! These 3 in 1 chips cover any computer system from 81-90! Ill include a photo of the manual for confirmation.
