Ive got a couple really clean mounts like these but Im looking for one with the nut built in like the one in this picture. Not sure if the one in the photo is from a car or a truck. Ive heard theyre different.
Anyone have an extra ?

I never seen those on a Chevy, Are those aftermarket?

Seen them on Pontiac, i even have a set.

And Pontiac's were a welded nut not a cage nut

OEM Chevy mounts. Im not sure what years had them but they were like this on my 81. Im trying to find one for my wagon. I know a couple of guys out here that have had them but both guys used them on their own builds. Now I have to hunt a little. Hitting the yards later today. I guess if I cant find one I can always buy a set off ebay but it sucks because I only need the one side.

Those are B body L & R mounts for '72 police w/ 454, 402, 400, '73-'76 350, 400 & G van V8 BBC/SBC '72-'78 ( possible to the early '80's.)

Is there a difference between those and G body mounts ? I have them in my 81 and Ive seen them in a few Montes. Looks like they fit in my car with no issues.

Not sure what the difference is between them other than the attached nut, may be slight height difference but the p/n for '73-'88 A/G is 334970 (stamped 334971.) B body '77-'90, X body '75-'79 also used them.
Also these car work with a BBC swap too.

Crap, now that you told me all this maybe I'll just keep what I have. Theyre the mounts that came in the wagon when I bought it. Thanks for the info !

Never seen that style clam shell, but that caged nut says 'f.. you' at some point in my life. I can see that spinning in the cage at the most inopportune time. I'd prefer to have a normal nut.

Absolutely agree

I cant see how a cage nut is a benefit. With a high HP engine that mount will have to much play in it.

Just weld a flange nut to the one side if you really need it

I use nylocks - even if it loosens enough to allow the bolt to spin, the nut will stay on.
