I have an 84' Hurst Olds that recently had a minor run in with a deer. The car had it's original paint, stripes, and rock/stone guard on the bottoms of the fenders, doors, and quarter panels. I would like to know how difficult it is to remove the rock guard? Is it going to get hot and ball up on the grinding/sanding wheel, or will it come off as easy as paint? If it balls up, would it be easier to heat it and scrape it off? Trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance for any input or experience you may have.
