Rust question

I just noticed this on my project Monte. How bad is this? The first picture is out side the driver b pillar and the second is inside the door frame by the roof.

Sad to say its bad. Looks like the sealant in a seam went bad allowing water into it. With any kind of rot you don't really know how bad it is until you cut it out.

Thank you for the reply. That’s what I was afraid of but as long as it’s repairable then I’ll be ok. Do they make a repair pice for this or will it have to be made in the field? I am only seeing lower pillar and T-Top repair items.
 
Sorry, I don't know if they make repair pieces for that part of the body.
