The nose up *ss down look is actually made worse by the stance as it relates to weight transfer. If you can bring the front down the back will come up some.

The thing is a 1" or 1.5" drop in the front isn't very much from stock. I have roughly 3" of drop in the front of my wagon and it is still over 26" high from ground to fender lip.

I'm having the same issues. I also have bilstein shocks but I went with BMR 1.5 drop all around. All the springs were shorter then the stock ones. It did sit higher when I first installed the front but it settled down an inch, but unfortunately still sits too high. I'd even be fine with an even stance but gasser look...no. I think drop spindles are the easiest solution from here as I do like the this spring/shock ride quality.

Unfortunately I can only find 2 inch drop spindles and I think that would add too much rake. I'll still probably do it though.

Your screwed. ;) Just give me the car. Seriously though, it looks freaking awesome but does need to come down in front. Has the car been driven? Springs settle. Also, one thing that happened to me years ago. I rebuilt my entire front end with engine out. I tightened the A arm bushings (stock rubber replacements) which were all the way down. When I got the car together with engine/trans, it sat high in the front. The front end shop mechanic told me I should have left them loose till it was at ride height. After a week of driving, I noticed it was 1/2 inch lower in the front from springs settling. I think I was about 19 or 20 and do what I learned every time I rebuild a front end. If you have tubular control arms, I doubt it would bind though. You should be proud. Car looks great and your representing the G body community very well

Mine looked like that too. I just have to swap front springs to 2inch lowering springs or 2inch drop spindles to fix the issue.

Hafrod,

So flattered, thank you. Your builds are legendary, so your praise is not taken lightly.

So I guess I am going to actually drive the car a bit as I doubt I have put more than 200 KMS on the car since she was built.

I will daily drive for a week and see whats doing.. after that will re-evaluate.

Hate to say some sacrilegious, but if the car is still a gasser what do y'all think of just cutting 1/4 of a coil so get the car down on her haunches more evenly? Hurts me to do this with brand new springs, drop spindles maybe another option but my budget for this build, save for finishing touches is about done. Cupboards are bare.
