Save it or scrap it?

I got this car pretty cheap for what it has in it. Came with a running 350 with a built th350 with a b&m 2400 stall and a good 3:73 posi. I looked at it at night and it was raining to boot needless to say it had more rust than I originally thought. I knew the passenger frame rail was bad but the rest of it felt solid with a screw driver. The drivers floor had some rot but i couldn’t get under the car to give a full inspection. When I pulled the carpet up I was pretty disappointed with what I found to say the least..... Any advice will be helpful even if it’s find another one lol the worst of it is the drivers firewall body mount which you can’t buy.

Wow, that last pic is brutal. Unless you LOVE g-bodies, this is your "have to own" car, and you have sheet metal skillz/awesome welder that may be a labor of love you might want to pass on.

I agree ^^^ unless you absolutely love cutting, grinding and welding then I would take the drive train out and part the rest out to get your money back.

if you currently own it, I’d say part it.

They made literally millions of G bodies, life is too short to spend half of it patching up rust.....and that's just the stuff you can see, imagine what the enclosed areas look like inside.

Parts car FOR SURE. Hell, I cut up a way better sedan than that because nobody was interested in it

It’s 83 Monte SS, I was figuring it would be a better parts car. Oddly enough the doors dreamers and rear quarters have little to no rust on them.
