SBC 400 COMPRESSION TEST????'s

I recently bought a complete SBC 400 engine that's been sitting for years in a climate control building guy said it was pulled out of a wrecked car but was running I want to do a compression check what are good compression numbers to look for?Thanks

You're looking for consistency between the cylinders more than anything else. But typically you'll be looking for every cylinder to be at a minimum of 120 psi or so with a deviation of 10% or less between all of them.
