The Comp Cams roller rockers are the same part number for Ford 289-351W, AMC 290-401, and Oldsmobile 350-455. I'm sure that means they all use the same rocker.

There is also another one that says it fits AMC 290-401 and SBC 265-400. Since the AMC is the common denominator in both, that must mean the SBC 265-400 rockers can be used with the Olds as well. If you check the vehicle fitment tab, the same part number fits a LOT of different vehicles. I can find SBC rockers for cheaper. Can SBC rockers be used in Olds engines?
Thanks.

The SBF can be used but the geometry is slightly different and how the pushrod sits in some rocker's limits lift due to interference. This is the first I have heard of it. I know the straight pattern sbc mini starter's work fine on Olds V8's. Buy one rocker and test the geometry. I assume this is the a 1.6 ratio rocker arm?
