SCAT CRANKSHAFT OR WHAT????

I have a SBC 400 and the markings on the crankshaft are 3608 is this a scat crankshaft or what and what size crankshaft, are picture

It could just be a number stamped by the machinist or builder for job reference.

Oh okay but it is a bigger crankshaft than a stock sbc 400 crankshaft because it is really close to the block on the back journal
Look for other numbers on the crank and if the crank was larger than stock stroke it would have aftermarket rods that would probably have the length etched on it.

I have a 9000 scat 400 crankshaft and I looked at the 383 they are both stamped on the front

All genuine scat cast crankshaft have the SCAT Name cast in raised letters on number one counterweight or number two
