Does anyone know if there are stock headlight housings that fits where the sealed beam housing would go. would like to switch to a socket style setup to have a variety of bulbs to choose from.

I have HL72310 Hella lenses, they give you a patterned beam so you don't bother the other traffic on the road and you can see the road alot better. The chinese junk is cheap and just throws the beam and does not pattern the beam. I paid $80 for the Hella lense but you get what you pay for

Wow!! Those look like EXACTLY the lenses i've been looking for, nice, quality upgrades. All of the other i've seen always look like plastic junk. Did you put your headlights on a relay system to give them more power or just change over with the existing wiring. And if you used the existing do they dim or flicker from the extra power draw?

I bought lenses from Napa and they had 2 options, patterned from Anzo or non-patterned from Pilot. I got the Anzo ones for 85 bucks for both and they are great! I also bought the H4 Ultra White bulbs to go with them. Keep your eyes open some of them are generic and you have to shave them down or modify them to make them fit into the bucket housing.

I'm using bixenon and hid in the highbeam so they come with relays in the harness. I have used PIAA halogen bulbs and when I turned on the high beams the relay in the light switch tripped. That sure woke me up cause I was on a nice twisty dark country road. I put a relay in the stock wires for low and high beams and no problems after that.

I didn't use the bulbs that came with them. I put the bixenon & hid's in at the same time I installed the lenses.

you should consider using a capacitor like the one people use to upgrade stereo systems w this setup. If anything, a 2nd battery in the trunk would most likely prevent flickering
