A working class stiff that made it to the big time. A life well done. I liked everything he was ever in- except Zardoz.

Sean Connery, Mark Harmon, and a ‘78 Cutlass. Seemed fitting to post it here.

He was a class act and I don't think 007 would have been the lasting success it has been if not for Sean Connery
He did indeed set the standard for the role. I feel that Roger Moore also did a fine job, as well as Pierce Brosnan, and I didn't warm up to Daniel Craig's version until his second appearance, but I think he pulls it off well too.

No so oddly enough, he did have an acting life prior to the Bond Movies. Do a search on "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" for a chuckle.
An also recently left us as well was Diana Rigg from the Avengers but she co-starred with Connery and there is at least one video-mentary on all the actresses who played Bond girls and villains over the life of the series. Warning, if you would rather remember those girls as how they looked when they starred in their various roles do NOT visit that video. Sometimes it is better to live with one's memories rather than confront what time and age hath wrought.
