Looks like only 1 made it

Ah...Upon closer inspection, you’re right. But heck, I thought my Regal was treated with kid gloves, and it’s missing both of them. Next to the woody fender mouldings, probably some of the hardest-to-find wagon-specific pieces, in my experience.

If it only needs paint, not major rust repair, that might not be out of this world.

There was a twin of that car for sale in Pgh. 2 years ago that was factory built with a 305 3spd. that someone put a 4spd. in it. It may be rare today, but this cars drivetrain was the base entry level.

Asking prices and selling prices are two totally different animals. $4500 sounded high at first glance, because "pretty good" interior costs as much to replace as thrashed, and as mentioned the drivetrain isn't anything to get excited about. I get manual cars are rare, but honestly, I would probably go hydraulic throwout over all that antiquated mechanical linkage, were I doing a manual trans.Seems much more undercar friendly, without the hassles of header clearance.

As for rare, all that means is nobody wanted it

I paid less than 25% of their asking price for the wagon in my avatar
