Has anyone used the SEM Burgundy 15063 as an option for the 80s g bodies claret/maroon/burgundy? Im looking for a cheap but good alternate for pillars, dash and door panels. I used the SEM black and its some good stuff but im not sure if the SEM burgundy is a close match. A can mixed using the factory codes is $35 a can?! and thats not needed for my driver cutlass.

I have used something from SEM and it was a shade off for my 86 Cutlass

The paint Kirban sells is a Spot on match for the T-Type's and Cutlass's

I will go check the code is on the SEM cans I have in the garage.

This wheel is painted Sem 15063 along with the center console. Its not exact match for the maple in my 83 but its dam close enough for me.

I've used Duplicolor body paint when I converted to the gauge cluster (1993) & again on the four speed shifter floor trim (1999) It was dark maple, had a low gloss look to match & had to look to find the metallics. Now I'm spoiled to the PPG stuff.

I've used it, it's not an exact match but its fairly close. I only used it on the top of my back seat cushion where it was sun faded. I'll try to find some pictures.

Thanks for the pics. I think I may actually test the SEM, I like darker look.

The purple tinted one probably is the closest but I rather not have the purple tint on the plastic anymore. I have to spray damn near every piece anyway so I may rid that shade out.

Do you have pics of the SEM on the seat fabric?

I do, they are on a USB somewhere. There is one on post #150 in my build thread. I didn't do the whole seat, just the top of the cushion where it was faded.
