How about when you post a quote it drops the images. It just adds pages of the same pics for a two word reply :x Maybe a "quote without images" button next to the regular quote button?

A non gbody related for sale section? I mean, we all have other interests besides our cars right?

Maybe this is just me and my lack of computer skills. But, every thread I visit requires at least 8 clicks to back out of when I post in the thread. The first back click says "web page has expired", then the next few clicks go back and forth between before and after my post before it finally backs out and gets me back to the index page. Am I doing something wrong at my end, or is that a site issue?

When you post, it should take you to a screen that will automatically redirect back to the bottom of that topic (give it a second). It should have a link to get you there also... Clicking 'back' after posting will do this, because it goes to the screen I just mentioned (which will of course try to bounce you forward), then the posting form, etc. etc.... just how it works. more straightforward, if you have to click a bunch to get back to the index, just click once on the "Board Index" or "Forum" links in the header.

That has addressed an issue I had with this forum, thank you.

Roger.

I think each user should have a trader rating that is tied in to their user name. The rating could be displayed in the section where your avatar is. Only the buyer\seller could leave feed back for the their transaction, kind of like how ebay does it. Then the buyer\seller feed back forum could be changed to buyer\seller disputes. Then the buyer\seller can use that forum to resolve a dispute with a transaction.

For the guys clicking on outside links, if you're using a Windows computer, right-click on the link and then left-click on "Open Link in New Tab."

-The "rep points" thing gets debated in lots of forums. Many settle on positive reps or likes only since negative reinforcement rarely makes things better on the internet.
-Minimum post count for classified ads comes up a lot too. Personally, I don't see a need. It doesn't bother me if someone just joins just to sell. The market will decide if they are asking too much.
-I like the idea of regional sections.
-And more smileys. b*tches love smileys.

Thanks for all the hard work GP403.

Great suggestions so far. I have a suggestion for us. When you post a question about how do I fix this and get several answers tell us what was your fix. I see so many posts that ask the question and get answers then just die. X2 on the locations, especially on for sale ads.
