Setting Station Presets

So i have an ‘85 Cutlass Supreme with the stock radio on it (GM-Delco) and could not figure out how to set a station preset so i can easily flip through stations when i need to.Below is a photo from the internet of the exact radio i have. If anyone could hep that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

While tuned to your station, push Set, then the preset button of choice. Bonus: some even let you put them between the 4. Push Set, then 1&2 together. If it takes, you can do the same on 2&3 and 3&4.

That particular radio doesn't seem to have a set button. That may be one of the radios that you have to pull the preset button out to set the station. If that doesn't work, then try to press and hold the button to set it. If the station changes as soon as the button is pressed down, then it is probably the pull type. If the station changes when the button is released, then it is probably a press and hold type.

don't you just put it on the station and hold down the appropriate button to set it

Did Oldsmobile radios normally get the amber display? I thought that was usually a Cadillac thing.

My '86 Regal had the same display from the factory until I swapped out the radio ~ten years ago..
