Sheet Metal Cowl for Malibu

Looking to step up to a 2 inch cowl hood. Auto Metal Direct, Sherman, Goodmark, does any one know if they are all the same, being stamped out in China someplace?

They are nice. I am not sure if they all come from the same place, but those I have seen in person were all good.

The order taker at Jeg's claims multiply sources of supply. I'm concern about details like the fit, are the windshield side corners sharp like the factory hoods?

The Goodmark hoods are roughly $100 more than the AMD, but if they were manufactured such that they fit better, I'd go for the extra $.

Anyone out there with either a Goodmark, Auto Metal or Sherman hood that have problems with the fit, or other quality control related complaints?

I bought mine from GoodMark, It was made in China, But I had to do very little to it to make it fit.

I have a Goodmark hood which was a second. There was some slight damage in the rear corners.
Frankly, I don't think the hood fits, or lays down as well as the stock hood.
They do require some tweaking.
