you can use the same one from a 1st gen saturn s series. there should be a ton at yer local pick and pull. on the front of the shifter theres a notch that has a staple looking thing you can pry out with a small flathead and the shifter pops right off. yer talking about the black "T" shaped floor shifter with the button on the left i assume...?

$50 for a shifter knob? ya might as well goto auto zone and get the one with all the glittery sh*t on it for $20 and then **** yerself with it. :blam:

some of us can justify 50 bucks for something hard to find...................how much you pay for that little useless motorbike? perception is a wierd thing...........

that lil motor bike cost me 170 new! i used it like a dozen times and tried to mod it with a new ported carb and race exhaust. now its sitting in my kitchen in pieces  i was thinking of getting a new one but i think i rather spend it on the elky....for now
i was just saying the shifter on a saturn is cheaper to get and looks very close to the oem floor shifter. i think i still have it somewhere...?

I bought one new from General Motors last year. They may still have some left if you want the factory original. I think i paid $50. or $60.

This just came up on Oldspower a week or so ago. I've never dealt with the company but I've heard of other's who have and were pleased.

Price's aren't too bad either at $25-$30 depending on color. Although granted, you'd spend another $10 or so for the chrome trim rings and such plus the button.
