I am in the process of installing UMI 2" lower springs on all four corners. The shocks need to be replaced. The car has a 350 SBC and is street driven only. Do I stay with OEM length shocks or do I need to go to shorter length shocks?
If shorter, what shocks do you suggest (keep prices reasonable)?

Go with the stock shocks in the front, since they will raise the car 2 inches............

I knew that answer was coming. Start the popcorn and a movie...

Don’t be surprised if you have to pull the springs back out a couple of times to cut them to achieve the drop you were expecting.

In the rear you're gonna want a shorter set.with stock ones the spring will become unloaded at full droop and come out.it's not a big deal unless you're a duke boy and jump the car on the regular.I'll dig up the part number tonight of the bilstein's I'm running if you'd like.
