I'm finally getting around to finishing some things on the rear suspension on my 85 Monte Carlo SS. It's been lowered 3" and running a shorter spring. Now u know that with standard length shocks the spring can fall out of its pocket. Does anybody know where to get bolt in lowered shocks (beside BellTech) to keep the axle from dropping to far or a quality suspension travel limiter that doesn't need welded on. The other side is factory shocks just bottom out on compression and need one with a shorter compressed length. I have set my mind on Bilsteins or maybe VariSshock, just depends on what the budget allows.
TIA for your reply or E-Mail me at [email protected]
