how much does a chevy 350 short block weight pistons rods and crank

250-300lbs maybe? Maybe less. I don't know the exact weight but I know 2 guys can easily pick a shortblock up and carry it.

According to the scrap yard the 350 shortblock i scrapped was 403lbs. And the last complete sbc i scrapped weight was 528lbs. Both motors where junk

yeah they say that a SBC complete weights 550lbs

short block I would say is around the 400 range.

An assebled 350 short block with just pistons, stock rods, and stock crank weighs 230lbs on the nose. It will be more if its a stroker, and forged internals.
