Im sure it has a "proper name" but its the short one that ends at the front of the seat and doesn't go to the dash. Same as the one in my old 4 spd El Camino. Ive also seen pics of them in other 4 spd cars. Need it for my T5 GP. Thanks!!

That would be the standard Chevy console with out be attached to the bread box ('78-'81, '85) or having the coin tray ('86-'88). There are two sets of mounting holes in the rear floor mount so the can be mounted farther back, they used a stand alone front mount that mounted further back (like where the auto shifter would go.) Stick shift Pontiacs used it too, not sure about the Olds & Buicks.

That's the one. Stick shift Pontiac. I assume it uses the brackets my full console used. Wouldn't make sense not to. Now, who has one?
