well the guy said it wasnt running when he pulled it but it isn't seized... I'm not sure if i would be able to really check the block. I'm worried I might buy it then find a nasty surprise... Do you think it would be worth 400 if it doesn't run but turns freely? it includes accessories and transmission...

why not find out what it's weight is worth for scrap, I'd offer him that amount so at least you'd break even if it is junk
i hear you Anubis , as far as the price difference,when i went to the local speed shop and told him i wanted to build my 403.he told we the 4500.00 and asked why i wanted to build a 403 when he could build me a 350 chevy for 2500.00. thats just what i was told
