85GP:  ^^As much as I hate contributing to China's economy, you just can't beat those 2 HF items for the money.

Yeah no doubt! but the "USA" brands are way too expensive!! I have been wanting a kRL series Snap On two bay box but can't justify the cost especially for the home garage!! My Cornwell shop cart cost me some $$ but there is some cheaper ones that look and feel exactly the same... OH well it is what it is.. I paid 50 for my cart and 50 for my cherry picker BOTH barely used! Hell of a deal IMO!! More $$ for my GP. 8) Though i don't mind spending the money on the better tools...BTW the MAC adjustable stool is my newest "shop" addition.

I have an old small craftsman that i outgrew years ago. I share a bigger craftsman with my bro but we do so much stuff and break so much I really need to just redo my entire tool set.

Right now im only using a hand ful of tools. I use a th350 transmission pan to hold some when Im doing motor work. the few others are under the car or on my workbench.

the over flow of tools are in a 5 gallon bucket that I use when I go to the track.

You have to be patient and look for the deals but they're out there. I used the little Craftsman on top of my cart while I was in class. It was actually part of the required tool list. Shortly after school, while I was working for my uncle, the Mac guy made me a deal on a John Force "collector" box. It wouldn't have been my first choice but I got it for $1000 instead of the $3000 that was the original price. I guess his supplier bought a few and it was the last one and no one wanted it. Looked like this.

I used it for a couple years and when I started to outgrow it I put the word out to the Mac, Matco and Snap-on reps that I was interested in a used box. The Snap-on guy had repoed my Intimidator only a couple months after selling it. He sold it to the original owner for $4500, got it back and sold it to me for $2600. I even negotiated new replacement trim to replace a few scratched/dinged pieces, a new cover, about a dozen Snap-on decals, and a nice insulated Snap-on jacket.
I sold the Force box to my brother for what I paid. When he outgrew it he traded it in on a Maximiser and got $2000 credit for it. Everyone came out good on that deal.

And I too have a "murse". Those things are great in the yard. I've found over the years that 1 light murse in EACH hand reduces back pain during a long day wandering the yards compared to just 1 murse filled with heavy tools. I'm so crippled and old.

Yeah i have been patient and actually passed on a KRL series yellow snap on box that sold for 2k. Just trying to divert some $$ to my GP. and yeah i feel you about carrying the murse and tools...i carry all kinds of tools and walk a couple rows then rest and then walk some more..By the time i finish going through 2-3 yards i'm beat!!..

It lives in my small work room off my garage now. Had the cabinets put in last year, They match what's in the Garage.
