My Wife really likes that anology, really does not like the look of them. If I bought one, there better be sleeping bag in it😁. That thing is mint, no doubt Grampa or Grandma just passed away and this was in their garage. While these cars are not my favorite with the awful blobs people drive these days are they really that ugly? Good catch on the mighty 260, super easy to drop in a 350 or 403 and sleeper time.

That color would look sweet with the right wheels

Make me a helluva winter car.
Bag of Sakrete over each rear wheel, a pair of Jetzon retread snow tires and a new set of wiper blades and I'd be king of the hill.

Oh wait, it's not 1980 any more...……...

Pretty sure it's an Olds 260 V8. The filler tube does give it away. The Buick 231 V6 has the distributor up front. A Chevy 305 V8 would have the A/C compressor mounted on the driver's side and one of the A/C lines running across the top of the radiator mounting plate back towards the condenser at the heater box.
Very clean car. Seems like every car I see of this vintage has the Carmine Red interior. Both of my 1978 Cutlass Calais(s) I use to own had this interior, too.
