ok, i cant be the only one that wants to slap the sh*t out of these wanna be gangsters that take a pure american classic and put these ridiculous lift kits with 26" rims... i got into a very heated argument with some wannabe gangster, inside dunkin donuts... very entertaining to say the least... very overly ghetto dramatic, actually pushed me, when he did my jacket flopped open and he locked eyes with my taurus 9mm in my shoulder holster, he immediately lost all ghetto tones in his voice, started speaking proper english, and apologized... i then bought him a coffee and showed him what a REAL g-body looks, asked him to race, he declined, guess he was afraid of messing up his tires n rims.... ok, im done ranting...

I couldn't agree more. I know this is sort of a "taboo" topic here that always turns into an argument, so I say to each their own. But I do prefer stock looking cars and would rather have a grandma-mobile vinyl-top and pillow-velour bench-seat V6 car than a donk.

it started out innocently, i simply asked why put such large rims... he replied with "cause them shitz is hot yo"... so i said, its hot to have to drive 2 miles an hour, swerve around every pebble and pothole... and it was all down hill from there...

Trouble has arrived. So what's the issue w/big rims? While I depise lift kits myself, I put whatever I want on "my" cars. I haven't lived in the ghetto in years. I also upgrade my cars' powerplants w/supporting driveline mods in my American classics. On another note, I'm down to race rims on or off whenever I'm in the states.
