My car is heat only and many of the racers have completely removed their HVAC. The cavernous trunk of the G-body could certainly receive this AC unit; you would need to cut a hole somewhere to blow out the hot air. Vent the cold air up into the cabin in the middle of the board behind the rear seat (between the stereo speakers).
Is that too much of a hack-job? I bet it could be packaged nicely. Should be less than 60 amps at full blast... Still quite small BTU-wise; maybe a 5th of belt-driven cooling power. It has on-board batteries and one could buy a larger alternator.
